Weight Loss Myths

Fast and effortless Weight Loss diets

FALS: Any fast weight loss provokes a negative body reaction. In general, who loses weight fast, will gain it back and then some. Unfortunately (but fortunately for you and your health), you must adopt a new life style in which a “clean” diet and physical exercises are always present. Generally, these short-term diets are based on body dehydration and you’ll lose water not fat.

If you sweat or use herbal tea, you’ll lose weight

FALS: thru transpiration you eliminate body water, along with some minerals and vitamins. Yes, you’ll lose weight but, it’s WATER, not fat. The fat is consumed only thru movement and heat or by its participation on other metabolic processes. In extreme cases the fat gets eliminated with a special vacuum (liposuction).

The vitamins are fattening

FALS: Vitamins to not have energetic value on their own. They do not get you fat by themselves. A sedentary life style and wrong types of foods are the guilty ones.

Doing exercises for a certain body area causes weight loss on that area

FALSE: Fat is reduced proportionally on the entire body area, not only on certain areas. When did you ever see a fat person with a flat stomach?

“Cholesterol free” products

No vegetal products contain cholesterol. Labeling vegetal oils as being “cholesterol free” is just a trick used by manufacturers.
