Heart Healthy Diet

This diet is recommended by the cardiology department for heart patients that need to lose weight quickly and healthy.
The diet is fast, it burns fat. The secret is that, by following the diet, more calories than you actually eat, are burned. The diet cleans the body of toxins and creates a feeling of well-being. The diet is based on daily intake of calories burning soup. This soup can be eaten as often as we feel hunger. Eat as much as you can during the day because, by eating this soup, you actually burn calories. Notice! The more you eat this soup, the more you’ll lose weight. During the diet, say no to: alcoholic drinks, bread, sugar, fried food, honey.

Soup Recipe

- 6 big onions
- 1 cabbage
- 1 celery
- 2 carrots
- 2 paprika (those that are not hot)
- 0.750 grams tomatoes (it can be replaced by tomato juice)
- Spices of any kind
- 1 cub of concentrated soup

Note : Where there is no mention of drinks, you can drink water, diet fruit juice, tea, coffee, skim milk. No soda of any kind.
If the diet is followed as mentioned, after 7 days you’ll lose 5-7 kilos.

Day 1: soup, fruits (not bananas).Water melons are recommended.
Day 2: soup, vegetables (no fat of any kind), especially: green salad, cabbage, a boiled potato with a few drops of olive oil.
Day 3: the combination of the first 2 days, except for the potato.
Day 4: soup, 3 bananas, milk (all you can drink), water.
Day 5: soup, 300-500 gr. of beef, chicken or turkey (no skin, no fat), 3 tomatoes or 6-8 glasses of tomato juice.
Day 6: soup, beef or turkey (all you can eat), vegetables with green leafs (no potatoes).
Day 7: soup, rice, pees, diet fruit juice, vegetables.

Aliments that can be consumed without restrictions:

Proteins:

a) Any fat free meat, boiled eggs, skim milk, yogurt, no fat cheese.
b) Vegetables: fresh vegetables, green salad, fresh fruits. Interdictions: nuts, peanuts.

Glucide: only those from vegetables, frits and salad.

Fats: vegetable oils, vegetable butter.

Salt: 5 gr. /day.
