Although, traditionally, it is said that the best way to eliminate fat tissue is by doing aerobic exercises, there are more and more studies that show that a combination between lifting weights and aerobic exercises confers an increased efficiency level. Here is a study conducted by a University from Berlin. It was conducted on a group of 30 obese women; this group was divided in 3 groups of 10 persons each; a control group, a group than used only aerobic exercises and another group that combined aerobic exercises with weight lifting exercises .The group with aerobic exercises did cardio exercises (60-70% of the heart maximum cardiac frequency) for 6 days/week. The group with combined exercises did weight lifting exercises for 3 days and aerobic for the other 3 days of the week.

The measurements concluded that the group that did only aerobic exercises eliminated, on average, a volume of 23 cm3 of hypodermic fat and 83 cm3 visceral fats, while the group with combined exercises eliminates 62 cm3 of hypodermic fat and 93 cm3 of visceral fat. The study concluded that combined exercises have a greater efficiency over the simple exercises.

In conclusion, if you wish to lose weight faster and more efficient, adopt a combined exercises program, alternating aerobic exercises with weight lifting exercises.
