Acai berry, a purple hued Brazilian berry found in the Amazon rainforests, is the latest sensational health super food to rise in the horizon. Scientists’ research has revealed the numerous health benefits of Acai berry.

The berry contains a high dose of antioxidants that defy aging and make your skin fresh, lithe and acne free. It also has Vitamins A, B and C. It contains loads of beneficial fatty acids like omega-9 or oleic acid. Acai berry leads to weight loss.

It fights diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar, arthritis, depression, heart ailments like atherosclerosis and even cancers like leukemia.

It improves blood circulation, vision and energy levels. It reduces inflammation and enhances your sexual drive.

Side Effects of Acai berry
All the propaganda about Acai berry health benefits might have made you eager to try out Acai berry supplements and related products. However you are also probably keen to know if there are serious Acai berry side effects.

There is only one known Acai berry side effect which is suppression of appetite. This can cause weight loss. However for most people this is not really a side effect; in fact Acai berry weight loss properties have made it popular amidst obese people who want to knock off a few pounds from their body. The consumption of an Acai berry diet enables weight loss without the aid of harmful fad diets.

Acai berry has no other side effects as it is 100% natural and safe. However some supplements contain very little Acai berry extracts blended with other substance like Guarana. Guarana is an energy booster and appetite suppressant but contains caffeine. So the harmful effects of caffeine like hyperactivity may be experienced on intake of these products.

Acai berry diet side effects

An Acai berry diet does not have side effects. Including Acai berry supplements in your diet strengthens your immunity and enhances your energy levels. They also reduce your appetite and allow you to lose weight in a natural manner. However if you include products that are concocted from Acai extracts and other substances you are at the risk of experiencing side effects from these other components.

A supplement that has the Acai berry as the sole ingredient will not create side effects. The natives of the Amazon have harvested the Acai berry from the Acai palm and incorporated it in their diet for hundreds for years without facing any medical issues. In fact 42% of their diet is made up of the berry.

Acai berry is just a normal fruit like the apples or oranges that you buy from the local supermarket. Just as these fruits have no harmful effects, the Acai berry too is completely safe.

People who take medications for high blood pressure and people suffering from kidney diseases may also safely consume Acai berry fruits. This will only improve their health and well being.

Incorporate the Acai berry in your lifestyle either by consuming Acai berry pills, juice or unsweetened pulp form of Acai berry. Such a diet will surely improve your health, endurance and fitness.

Me and my husband would want to try the Acai Berry Pills. what I want to ask is can we take Acai Berry Pills at the same time with other supplements and maintenance medicines? My husband is taking Alluporinol (100mg) daily as well supplements like omega-3 fish oil, garlic oil & multi vitamin while I am taking 2x daily 500 mg. Glucophage, 1x daily 5 mg. Renitec, other supplements like vitamin B12, rosehip with vitamin C, calcium caltrate, 3-omega fish oil, garlic oil. Please advise if we need to stop some of these medicines. Thanks.

Mylene, Acai Pills are natural supplements therefore they do not have any side effects. It’s true that taking too much supplements is overdoing it so my advice is this : get one of the free trials , take the pills to your doctor and see what he/she has to say.

Good luck and keep me posted!
