10 Tips to Lose 10 Pounds

The summer will soon point the tip of its nose, and it is time to get ready for the beatch. Here are some tips to lose 10 pounds without losing your head.

1) Find a weight loss buddy

Motivation is 70% of the diet. If necessary, ask one of your friends or your partner to play the role of coach. Or, better yet, find a group that has the same goals as you. Seeing others take action and hearing their success stories will motivate you.

2) Take your time!

Losing 10 pounds doesn’t happen in one week so learn to be patience, imbrace a balanced diet, you wouldn’t want to create an imbalance in your body by not eating the necessary nutrients. 1/2-1 lbs. per week is a good weight loss rate. And remember : losing weight too fast often means getting it back quickly.

3) Remember to consult a nutritionist

To lose 10 pounds permanently and safely, it is better to hire a professional who not only direct you to the nutritional level, but also motivate you.

4) Say goodbye to sweets and meats

Eliminate the grease and sweets from your diet. However, this does not mean banning all fat. Olive oil or salmon have essential fats that are extremely imprtant for your brain so :

5) Welcome the fish

The fish is your best friend. Few calories,lots of Omega 3, good for your figure, it works very well with vegetables. And in terms of variety, you’re spoiled  with the choices: salmon, tuna, whiting, emperor, place and many others.

Beware, the breaded fish is not recommended!

6) Get a pair of sport shoes

Yes! It is often the most complicated step, at least the hardest to overcome. But the hardest thing is to get started. All ways are good to get some exercise,I have one word: move!

Ideally, you should do a minimum of 2 to 3 hours of sport per week. But you can totally split, and make 20 to 30 minutes per day, it works well.

7) Check your fridge

The essential plan is to have at hand only foods that help you lose those 10 pounds. Before you start, get rid of all the cakes, sweets and other meats, which are all unnecessary temptations. Develop a list of menus, or foods allowed, and try to stick to it. And most importantly, never do your shopping on an empty stomach,you’ll risk buying unhealthy foods.

8 ) Do not skip meals

When you start a diet, we sometimes tend to do too much. The biggest mistake is to skip meals. When we skip meals the body enters in a state of alert and will store over the next meal in order to protect against starvation. It is always better to have 3 important meals: breakfast,lunch and dinner and one or two snacks in between.

9) Respect the rule of the food pyramid

In order to get fit, we must respect a simple principle: eat well in the morning and afternoon, and light in the evening. In the first part of the day the body needs energy, while in the evening, the food you eat will be store as fat deposits. Also, a light dinner facilitates a good night sleep.

10) Also, be aware of what you drink

The alcohol turns into sugar when it reaches our blood. So seriously, limit your alcohol intake if you want to lose 10 pounds.

Banish sodas,also full of sugar. You can consume light sodas, but with moderation. Overuse may cause laxative effects, and more consumption of such drinks can make you addictive to the sweet taste.

More tips:

> Use and abuse the vegetables (and fruits)

Vegetables, completely at will! Low in calories, full of fiber and vitamins, they are more satiating. Regarding the fruits stay away from bananas and avocado  (high in calories). Consume 2 or 3 fruits per day, in various forms, but no more. Although they are fulll of nutrients, they are still sweet.

> Beware of diet products

Fat or sugar free products are good, but we mustn’t use a lot of these products. Check the labels, they may hold some surprises. Little sugar, but extra fat or vice versa.
